Kat Delpit, real estate agent and founder at Kat Delpit Real Estate (KDRE), is a friendly, vivacious, people-oriented real estate expert serving homebuyers, home sellers, and investors alike in the Los Angeles area and throughout Southern California.

Kat’s real estate career officially began a few years ago when founded KDRE, but involvement and interest in the California real estate market has deep rooted seeds for her and the Delpit family.  Kat’s father is a developer in the Greater Los Angeles area, and Kat grew up intertwined in the market and learning the business from every angle.

According to Kat, “I grew up watching my dad manage luxury projects, from start to finish, concept to building sales, and I was always intrigued.”

Kat previously built a successful career in the fashion sales industry, but she wanted to pursue a change that would allow for more time to be spent helping others. When she started the process of buying her first home, everything clicked into place. She was working with an incredible agent, who has gone on to become a mentor – and that’s when the lightbulb went off, and she thought, “Why am I not helping people like this?”

After all, she is informed and passionate about real estate and as a self-described people person who immensely enjoys helping people find what they need in a competitive market, it was a natural fit.
